His Holiness Shri Shivanand Bharati Mahaswamiji came to Inchal in 1969 and is a Postgraduate in Sanskrit. Realizing that the people in this area were ignorant and illiterate, He made up his mind to spend his life to up lift them in all the required ways. To spread the Spiritual light in their hearts. He started Akhila Bharat Vedanta Parishad in 1970. Since then from 17th to 21st of February, every year a big spiritual feast is organized to enlighten the masses that gather from near and far way places.
His Holiness Shri Shivanand Bharati Mahaswamiji started Shri Shivanand Bharati Education Society in 1970 to provide Education, which is much needed to the rural masses. Since then, this society has been running a chain of education institutions from primary to P. U. C., Degree and Diploma colleges that spread across Belgaum to Bellary & Dharwad to Bengalore, with an aim to quench the thirst of Quality Education for those who desire. Under his able and charming guidance, many institutes were established to provide Quality Education for the rural masses. Since then, these institutes have produced many graduates holding Degrees and Diploma in fields related to Fine Arts, Dance, Medicine and Education for the Service of Nation.

Vision
H. Shri Shivanand Bharati Maha Swamiji established S. S. B. E. Society in 1975 at Shrikshetra Inchal with a vision of “A Better Rural India “. India is a land of villages and more than 80% of her population lives in sub-urban and rural areas. The growth and development of India should not be limited to urban hording and chaos but it has to evolve right from its backbone – “The Village”. The main motto of this S. S. B. E. Society is to nurture and cultivate quality education at the gross level of India and to provide opportunities for those who are true representatives of Rural India.
Mission
H. S. S. B. Maha Swamiji has been working towards this vision in the mind. He is striving hard to enlighten the lamp of wisdom and knowledge, boost their morale and lift the rural lives to greater heights. In this mission he started various schools, colleges, math and Ashrams and hospitals which spread across not only southern states but also across the continents. His vision keeps alive all those hearts seeking quality life and quality education.
